Joe DiGiorgio, to the left, is my artist friend in his loft in the Bowery of New York . To the right is Bill Dunne, who I was “in love” with back in the Nineties. He died mysteriously. I went to his funeral but no one mentioned how he had passed away. He was a very troubled man.
New York Daily columnist and Democracy Now! co-host Juan Gonzalez reports the TREASURY DEPARTMENT of the U.S. has approved payouts exceeding $5 million for 49 executives at firms that most benefited from the WALL STREET BAILOUT. The executives’ pay came despite the $500.000 cap established under the TROUBLED RELIEF PROGRAM (TARP). The firms that got the largest payouts included AIG –they received one of the largest bailouts.
